NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - The Management and Staff of THE SERENITY MORTUARY - SUMMERVILLE CHAPEL, along with the family, announce the passing of Mr. Walter Lascelles Peters, 87, of North Charleston, SC, who entered into eternal rest on December 17, 2025, at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, SC, with his beloved family at his bedside. Mr. Peters is a former self-employed furniture designer and a veteran of the United States Army.

Inurnment and military honors for Mr. Peters will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, New York, at a later date and time to be announced by his family.
