NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - The Management and Staff of THE SERENITY MORTUARY—SUMMERVILLE CHAPEL, along with the Morris Family, announce the passing of Mr. Elijah James Morris, 76, of North Charleston, SC, who entered into eternal rest on Sunday afternoon, January 11, 2026, at his residence in the loving care of his family. Mr. Morris is the widower of Mrs. Odelphia Haynes Morris and a veteran of the United States Army.
