Mr. Michael Randall Johnson

Mr. Michael Randall Johnson, also known as "Mickey" was born in Kingston, Jamaica on November 19, 1964, to Junette Deleware Marshall and Leslie Johnson. He was called to eternal rest on Saturday, January 14, 2017 in North Charleston South Carolina.

Mickey grew up in Westmoreland, Jamaica where he attended the prestigious Mannings High School. In 1981, Mickey and his family migrated to Westbury, New York where he completed his high school education in 1983. He earned a full academic scholarship to attend Emory Riddle University in Daytona Beach Florida, where he majored in aeronautics. Over the years Mickey had many careers, as many would say "he was a true Jamaican". Throughout his career changes, he found his passion in being an entrepreneur and creating two successful companies, Jan Pro. Cleaning services and Affordable Transit.

Mickey was a fearless traveler. He would pick up and go wherever his heart led him. Through his travels, he lived in various states such as Minnesota, Texas, Maryland and Florida just to name a few. Mikey did not have children of his own, but he was the protector of his many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters and was a witness of many milestones. This truth is what brought him back to South Carolina where he made sure to bring his pleasant smile, giggles and mastery of oatmeal. He was not a man of many words but he was full of love. He was big on education, always willing to tutor and even had the courage and patience to teach his sisters and nieces how to drive. Michael was the second oldest of his siblings. Our lives will forever be enriched by his love of caring and sharing.
