Mrs. Martha Sharper Gash

LADSON, SC - In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Martha Sharper Gash, 84 of Ladson, SC, who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

Martha "Beulah" Sharper Gash, beloved daughter of James and Maggie Sharper, was born of May 10, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Martha was educated in the Charleston County Public Schools. She was a steadfast and loyal employee of Holiday Inn Hotels, employed as their Executive Chef for over 30 years.

Martha was proceeded in death by her husband Buster Brownie Gash, her parents James and Maggie Sharper; Siblings, Bishop B. E. Sharper, Harry Sharper, Isaiah Sharper, Raymond Sharper, Robert Sharper, Walter Sharper. Joseph Sharper, Nathan Hamilton, Ervin Sharper, Queenie Elizabeth Manual, Henrietta Sharper and Ethel Sharper.
