Ms. Claretha McCloud

SUMMERVILLE - A golden heart stopped beating on Monday morning, April 27, 2015, when God called one of His precious servants from a lifetime of laboring into eternal life. Ms. Claretha "Duggar" McCloud was born in Summerville, SC located in Berkeley County. She was the youngest of six children born to Joseph Matthew McCloud and Hattie Marcena McCloud. She was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County School System. She received Jesus Christ in her life at an early age and was a faithful member of Branch AME Church. "Duggar" served as a member of the church usher board and her favorite song was "How Great Thou Art". "Duggar" loved people and she had a helping spirit.

"Duggar" was cared for by her beloved sisters and brothers.

"Duggar" is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Jessie Mae Leonard and Rev. J.N. McCloud.

Those left to share fond memories are her siblings; Kathleen Moorer, Blanche R. Saunders and Willie McCloud (Trannie Bell) and her sister-in-law; Geneva McCloud, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
